Heya everyone! The weather here in England has been pretty good for a couple of weeks and yesterday I decided today was the day for a little gardening. Unfortunately during the night the heavens opened and left me with a rather depressing looking garden. With free time, and gardens on my mind, I thought I'd give some acrylic floral nails ago, if you'd like to know how I did this, keep reading =)

This was created using 3 colours from the Caribbean Acrylic collection, white, clear, Medium-Speed Monomer, a buffing block and a 100/180 grit file.

I started by extending the nail with Hawaiian Blue then encapsulated with Clear. I placed 5 petals per flower with Mega White and added Caribbean Sunsplash to make the centre. I completed the look with leaves done in Rain Forrest. Finish with Topcoat and you're done.
Today's manicure is a light purple with dark purple spots. A very simple design but classy and cute, and I'm loving it, even on my au naturel shorties.

Today is Autism Awareness Day where 'Light It Up Blue' a leading charity in the research of autism is raising awareness for the "disease". Although I'm not sure I agree with the term "disease" as a mother of 2 autistic girls I am all for research into what is causing the number of cases to rise so quickly and how to prevent it; because although they are very special children and so much fun to be around, I also see when they're struggling with every day life and I feel so bad for them, it breaks my heart.

In honor of the charity and their work I've created this Light It Up Blue nail art tutorial, please show your support and rate thumbs up for Autism Awareness.

My local Tesco has had quite the makeover recently and with it they have introduced this whole new beauty section with nail tech's included. I got most excited when I saw the Barry M coming soon poster 'cause I'd always wanted to try their nail polishes but had never been able to get hold of them before.

The first polish is this "Nail Paint" in quite simply "Red Glitter". It took 3 coats to get a good full coverage but it looks amazing! Red glitter isn't exactly an every day polish
